Original vintage 1950s black silk evening purse in elegant black honeycomb damask.

This little bag is incredibly chic with a twisted silk rope handle, metal collar and pot shaped design. A metal zip runs around the lid, opening to a honey gold lining and mirror inside the lid. 

A beautiful piece with a subtle honey theme.

Fastening: metal Trix zip (made in Germany)

Fabric: silk damask over a solid frame with a crepe satin lining.

Condition: in good wearable condition. Light general wear overall to edges and tarnishing to metal expected with age. No beads missing, slight tarnishing to metal wear. Please see photos. Cleaned and ready to wear.

As with most vintage items, this bag has been previously worn and is over 60 years old.
